Fashion Design Courses are Divided into UG, PG and Diploma:
PG Courses are generally for 2 years which is streamlined with fundamental and technical knowledge of tailoring, sewing and basic fashion theory.  (This varies from course to course). Bachelor degree program is for 4 years and the basic course of fashion designing in the first year is the time when students will learn technical, artistic and conceptual skills.

Admission Process for Fashion Design Courses:
There is an entrance exam for this course after 12th, NIFT entrance exam by (National Institute of Fashion Design) and NID entrance exam by (National Institute of Design). After cracking these entrance exams, an aspirant becomes accessible to take admission in these top design colleges of India.
